Add Some Science to Your Eve nt!
For special occasions, Science Express offers a one-hour Science Event for preschoolers or elementary students. Students rotate through several science centers, making and taking home science experiments.
What is Included?
Science Express provides all the supplies and equipment, as well as
1 to 5 instructors. To keep costs low, volunteers are needed to help monitor stations.

Science Centers
|
|
Chromatography - Students separate ink and make a beautiful flower by using simple chromatography.

Volcanoes - Students will learn about chemical reactions as they help erupt volcanoes. This is a very popular center! Pre-K and K-6) |

Gooey Gak - In this center, students will make their own ball of Gak. They will have lots of fun squishing, bouncing, and stretching it!

Slime - Students will love grossing out their parents as they make slime in this sticky center! (Pre-K and K-6) |

Gyroscopes - Using bicycle wheels and turntables, students will transform into hyman gyroscopes. |

Magnets - In this center, students will work with an assortment of magnets and materiasl to learn abou the properties of magnetism. (Pre-K and K-6) |

Model Crane Assembly - Students will assemble a model crane, while learning about simple machines. Then, students will race cars down a track! (K-6 only)

Tornado Tubes - An all-time favorite for students as they make tornadoes in a bottle and compete to win a race! (Pre-K and K-5) |
|
Gemstone Dig
If your students like todig, then this is a great center for them. Students will pan for gemstones using gold mining pans. Students get to keep what they find!

Policies
Inclement Weather Policy
Science Express will make all reasonable efforts to conduct our program on the date it is scheduled. However, if driving conditions are unsafe, we will need to reschedule the program. We will contact you on the program date to discuss other arrangements.
Cancellation Policy
Please notify us at least 14 days prior to the program date if you need to cancel any classes (including additional classes on the same day) Otherwise, a $50 cancellation fee will be assessed. There is no fee to reschedule a class.
